CrossFit in Encino

The structure of our general CrossFit sessions will be: 

  • Roughly 20 minutes focused on warm up, flexibility, and increasing range of motion. (When done properly,
    this is a workout in itself! Do not overlook the benefits of this portion of an exercise program, CrossFit or otherwise!) 

  • Roughly 20 minutes focused on strength and coordination building exercises. Ex: Squat, Front Squat,
    Clean, Snatch, Hand Stand Push Up, Double Unders, and other Olympic Weightlifting and Gymnastic elements.
     

  • A Workout Of the Day (WOD) that ranges in duration from 6-20 minutes depending on the day.

 

Everyone approaches their exercise habits with unique goals. CrossFit as an exercise program is uniquely 

flexible among workout regimens in accomodating humans of varying experience, health backgrounds, and
limitations in helping them achieve their goals.

 

Our CrossFit gym in Encino is focused on building every individual a foundation through which they can
 accomplish their goals. We focus on flexibility as the base for the pyramid of health and functional wellness.
Flexibility will open the door to feats of strength and endurance that previously seemed impossible.
After emphasis on flexibility and improvement of range of motion, we will layer on strength in the
form of weightlifting, and endurance in the form of metcons, or Workouts Of the Day (WOD).

 

Athletes will all begin their experience at CrossFit in Encino with a one on one assesment with the
